Martyrs day 30/01/2025 celebrated
Martyrs’ Day, observed on 30th January in India, marks the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. On this solemn day, we pay tribute to all those brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the freedom, dignity, and integrity of our country.
The day serves as a reminder of the selfless courage and unwavering determination of countless freedom fighters who fought against colonial rule and injustice. Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy of non-violence (Ahimsa) and truth continues to inspire generations to stand up for justice and equality.
A two-minute silence is observed across the nation at 11 AM to honor the memory of the martyrs. Events and programs are organized to reflect on their sacrifices and the values they upheld.
As we commemorate this day, let us renew our commitment to building a just and harmonious society, remembering the words of Gandhi:
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
Let us always cherish the legacy of our martyrs and work towards upholding the ideals for which they gave their lives.
